Jacqueline Fernandez surprised all when she took up the role of a mother in her upcoming movie 'Brothers' at such a young age.
Quiz Jacqueline was she ever skeptical about the role and she admits, "I was in the beginning. I never first saw a mother's role coming to me actually. And when Karan Johar approached me for this role I was thinking a lot of people don't do roles like these. It is so unconventional and not many people take up such a role. But I reflected on it and listened to what Karan Malhotra and Karan Johar had to say. They were true and said that this is your chance to prove yourself as an actor. This is your chance for people to take you seriously. They said they are there for me and to take care of me. It was funny."
She adds further, "I owe this movie to four people. Akshay Kumar - for recommending me for this role, Karan Johar and Karan Malhotra for believing in me that I could pull this off and Salman Khan for actually convincing me when I was confused. He cleared the confusion. He said this film was important for me in my career. These four people kind of opened up a new door for me."
