Prem Ratan Dhan Payo hit the screens yesterday and not only the audience but even the film's lead cast watched the film yesterday with their loved ones. A special screening of the film was held at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai where the lead cast of PRDP and their family members came to watch the movie.
Salman Khan, Anupam Kher, Sooraj Barjatya, Atul Agnihotri with wife Alvira, Swara Bhaskar, Himesh Reshammiya, Bhushan Kumar, Deepak Dobriyal, Deepraj Rana, Sikander Kher among others were present at this special screening of PRDP. However, the film's leading lady Sonam Kapoor was missing from the screening.
While the film opened to mixed reviews, commercially, it earned a whopping 40 crores on day 1, surpassing the opening day collections of films Happy New Year, PK and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
