A complaint was registered against Salman Khan on Thursday for hurting religious sentiments. It was lodged at the Yavatmal police station in Mumbai.
According to Hindustan Times, the president of Vidarbha unit of All India Qaumi Tanzeem Mohd Asim Ali lodged a complaint on the basis of a fashion show organised by Salman’s "Being Human" foundation where a model walked the ramp in a gown with “Allah” printed on it. Ali even presented video clips from the fashion show.
He also said that the police registered a case against the actor after they threatened to have an indefinite dharna before the police.
The investigating officer Dilip Chavan said that they have lodged the complaint and are verifying details.
Salman was booked under section 295 (A).
